Painting the UK Green: London’s Victoria Coach Station Gets Flix-ed!

06/11/2023

London’s Victoria Coach Station (VCS) is greener than ever with new branding unveiled by the UK’s fastest-growing coach provider FlixBus.

Several gates at the station have been transformed using the eye-catching Flix-green to raise brand awareness and visibility of the company’s sustainable, affordable and reliable services in the capital.

The fresh signage highlights the ease and convenience of booking online and via the App, availability of free Wi-Fi and USB charging.

Branding for FlixBus services is also underway at key coach airports, stations and stops around the country, including London Heathrow Airport, London Gatwick Airport, Manchester and Sheffield Meadowhall.

“This is an exciting development in our growth journey to become the largest coach network in the country, and cements our status as a key player in the UK market,” said Andreas Schorling.

“London Victoria Coach Station is one of the largest in Europe and we’re proud that we launched our very first UK journey from this iconic building! We look forward to many more in the future.”

FlixBus has now carried over two million UK passengers, celebrating at VCS earlier this summer with its two millionth customer, and recently won ‘Best Bus Service’ at the National Transport Awards.

The company is also a finalist at the routeone awards for ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ later this week, with its long-term partner McGill’s Buses.

FlixBus, part of global tech company Flix, now serves over 60 UK destinations through its long-term coach operator partners, doubling its network capacity in 2023. Coach operator partner Newport Transport will add additional vehicles to the FlixBus network, increasing frequencies in the West corridor between Wales, the West, London and airports from 23 November.

Flix has gone from strength to strength in 2023, reporting its best first-half-year results in its history: boasting revenue of 860m Euro, 36m+ passengers, and successfully launching its 42nd country, Chile, in October.
